Scout Troops, friends, families, or solo adventurers - if you've dreamt of tackling 100 miles on the Allegheny River but aren't sure how to begin the planning process, this workshop is for you!
We'll give a quick rundown of the 100-mile trips we've taken on the Allegheny River, to include gear we've used, campsites we've stayed at, caution areas along the way, and a quick run-through of our meal prep.
We'll then open it up to discussion, helping each person/group with logistics, recommended daily mileage, resupply points, and camping recommendations. We'll also cover river water level monitoring as you get closer to your trip date. You will leave with a float plan in hand.
What you should bring:
- notebook and pen
Cost: $10 per participant.
IMPORTANT: This workshop is limited to 12 participants so we are able to help each individual with the planning process. Secure a spot here.
