Grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters -- escape your hectic schedules and enjoy the stunning Allegheny River and its tributaries. These trips are all about building the paddling community, and are perfect for beginning paddlers young and old, those new to the river, or for more experienced paddlers who just want some company on the water. Each trip is roughly three to four hours long and covers a popular, calm and scenic part of the river or creek.
On Thursday, June 27th we'll be meeting at Betts Park at 10:00 am where we’ll begin. This stretch of river takes roughly 2-3 hours with a leisure paddle. AO vans will pick us up and return us to our vehicles once we’re done.
Plan to bring water and a couple snacks, a good hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and an extra layer just in case. Bringing your own kayak is always welcome.
Reservations required for logistics, even if you're bringing your own kayak, please let us know. Reservations can be made online here: https://www.alleghenyoutfitters.com/summer-2024-guided-trips
We're excited to hit the water! Hope to see you out there!
