Summer Solstice Early Morning Paddle

There's something special about waking up with the river… sun rising behind us, fog lifting, catching a glimpse of animals and critters having breakfast. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Summer Solstice than an early morning paddle on the Allegheny River.

We hope you’ll join us as we paddle from Kinzua Dam to AO on June 21, 2023. We’ll meet bright and early at AO - 6:00am - where we’ll load boats onto our trailers and head upriver. (Everyone will end at their vehicles.) Average time for this 9-mile trip is 3.5 - 4.5 hours. Space is limited to 30 paddlers, and our group trips fill up rather quickly, so please don’t delay too long. Cost is $15 if you will be bringing your own kayak, or $40 if you need to rent one.
