While paddling quietly out of the inlet, we came upon the smallest kit we've ever seen. So small, I mistook it for "a small log I didn't remember seeing on the way in". Then it moved. This little one could have easily fit in my two hands together, it's tiny paddle tail measuring no more than 5 inches at most. (Watch the reel here.)
